I was browsing through Yes! magazine the other day while Akira was using the Ipad and the hubby was sleeping. But even before I could flip the next page, she stopped my hand, pointed out the current page and asked, "Was that Daddy? Was that Daddy?"
I was speechless for a few seconds. Hindi ko alam kung magagalit or matatawa ako (although my reaction was more of the latter). "Noo! Anak, that's not your daddy", I said. I turned my back and smiled laughed. Funny because, at a young age, she was able to associate Boy Abunda from her Daddy because 1.) They are both bald, and 2.) And they both wear eyeglasses. Period.
Which made me think: If only I bought Ok! instead, baka ma-associate niya pa si hubby with either Vin Diesel, Bruce Willis or Jason Statham, dba? Or malayo. Kasi malayo nmn talga! But Boy Abunda? No Way!!!
hehe! natawa talaga ko, ganyan din si ethan, pag may nakita sa tv, internet or magazine na may resemblance sa daddy niya, napapasigaw na look mommy, that's daddy. kahit minsan magkakulay lang, hehe!

ReplyDeleteyeah, i'll buy Ok! next time. Gusto ko kasi with Yes! is yung mga houses na finifeature. Ma-re-redeem lng cguro ang pride ni hubby pag si Derek ang naging kamukha niya. hahaha. Pero kelangan niya munang pumayat. :)
